Travis Merrill Pikeville Lites heat 2 kyle brown 748 took his honda to the front of heat 2, but travis merrill 207 rammed his KTM around the honda and took over the lead into the whoops.   right behind them was cory green, travis sewell 979 and roy horton 60.   green was pushing merrill hard.   then sewell went down in the cat bowl.   dale davis 132   took a trip off track in the same spot.   they both got going again, but sewell crashed again at the end of the whoops. then kyle smith 341 crashed in the same spot.   hopson, green and horton were having a ramfest and moving up.   then green got by hopson when hopson didn't jump the catapult.   roy horton took advatage of hopson's miscue and he went by too.   when the checkers came out, it was green taking the win, horton second, then travis sewell, hopson and kyle brown.   even though the dirt was soft and the first jump in the rhythm section wasn't very steep, green ripped off a couple triples.   brock sellards and chad johnson were doing the same thing in practice.
