WATERCRAFT WINTERIZATION
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. If I store my watercraft in a heated garage, will it be ok?
A. No! Condensation can still build up in the crankcase and cause rust.
This is much worse than freezing.

Q. Will my watercraft freeze if I don't winterize it?
A. Yes, some machines can freeze if not properly drained.

Q. Does my watercraft need the impeller serviced every year?
A. Yes, Seadoo watercraft have oil in the pump housing. It must be
changed every year. Other brands use grease in the pump housing and
need inspected or replaced every year.

Q. Do I need to winterize my watercraft if I only used it once?
A. Yes. If you only run it one hour the fogging oil and antifreeze are no longer.
      in the system.

Q. Does my oil injection need maintance?
A. Yes. Most are cable operated and need adjustment.
